Ian has spend the past two decades in the Tourism Industry. His passion and love for Africa, it's vibrant cultures, spectacular wildlife and unspoiled wilderness areas have taken him to Namibia, Botswana, Tanzania and South Africa where he has worked as a guide, guide trainer and manager of various safari destinations. Today Ian is based in Cape Town from where he runs the business and delight guests on various unique and exciting safaris. Starting this new venture has given him the opportunity to give back to Africa by sharing his extensive knowledge and experience in this industry with guests and guides from all over the world in creating and delivering bespoke safaris and destinations that will leave one with a sense of experiencing a truly unique and personal journey of a lifetime in Africa.
Michal became involved with nature thanks to his father, who was a wildlife enthusiast and volunteer ranger in Tatra National Park. Between 2007 and 2010 Michal lived alternately in Slovakia and China, where along studying Chinese language, he also worked as a private teacher of English language and tour guide. Michal has worked as an interpreter on photographic trips in the US, Southeast Asia and Europe. Among many of his hobbies, those notable are: wildlife photography, traveling, bird and butterfly watching. His photographic work was published in Slovak sinology yearbooks and magazines and in Indian Internet photo journal. In photography, he specializes mainly in bird, animal and macro (butterfly) photography.
Pietro is a guide and guide trainer who, for the last ten years, has been guiding in the wildest of Africa’s and especially Tanzania’s protected areas like the Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park. Training has been a natural progression and a way of giving back to a profession that has given him so much. He is currently working part of the year as a private guide, leading trips to different countries such as Ethiopia, Eritrea, Uganda, Kenya, Namibia and Tanzania. The rest of the year is dedicated to guide training, both in Tanzania and Kenya, and training a team of four guides from the Tanzania National Park rangers as walking safari guides. Pietro is accredited with FGASA as a Level 3 Field Guide and Trails Guide (1strifle) .
